About Us

We sell Authentic Handmade Tanzanian/African Attires, Jewelry, Hats, Artifacts, Tanzanian Folklore, Books, Carvings, Handbags, Fabrics, Zulu Hats, Maasai Blankets, Ostrich Eggs Artwork, African Artisan.

We buy authentic, handmade products from small traders, tailors, beaders, and other local African artisans whose mission is to improve their livelihood and their family's livelihood. Some work individually or as a family, and others as groups.

In the quest for self-support, Mchete's realized I could improve this demographic and their lives by buying from them instead of mass producers.

Our suppliers are in rural and urban parts of Tanzania, Kenya, and Durban, South Africa, where rural women do a magnificent variety of beadwork and traditional hat weaving.

Testimonial

“AACCW has been a valuable resource to Best Ed Business since 2014. The services and resources offered by the chamber have grown and become more personalized in connectivity with the needs of businesses.
The woman in business series was especially valuable to me.
AACCW’s ability to refer its business roster as opportunities arise is an absolute member benefit”
